Local.com’s Spreebird launches mobile apps
The apps allow consumers to search, buy and claim Spreebird daily deals on their phones.

Irvine-based Local.com, an online media company, has released new mobile applications for its Spreebird daily deals business. The apps allow customers to search, buy and claim Spreebird deals on their cell phones.
“We are pleased to be launching our highly anticipated Spreebird mobile apps,” said Malcolm Lewis, senior vice president and general manager of social buying for Local.com. “These new apps make it considerably easier for our customers to access Spreebird deals anytime, anyplace and extend our ability to reach the tens of millions of iPhone and Android phone users nationwide.”
The free Spreebird apps allow iPhone and Android users to browse and buy Spreebird deals by location, view deals on an interactive map including phone numbers and directions, browse and buy travel deals from Spreebird Getaways, and to redeem and review purchases.
