Online local media company, Local.com Corporation, appointed a new senior vice president to the sales division of their Irvine based organization. In his new position, Tullio Siragusa will direct the company’s sales and account management strategies. In addition, Siragusa will be responsible for Local.com’s new sales products such as their ad management platform, RAMP.
Local.com is a search engine site geared toward building connections between local businesses and consumers. According to company reps, the Local.com website and its partner sites are utilized by more than 20 million consumers each month. As senior vice president of sales, Siragusa will be managing Local.com’s sales and advertiser services. The company anticipates that their sales products will allow local businesses to increase their online visibility.
“Tullio brings a wealth of strategic sales leadership and experience to the company,” said Local.com COO, Michael Sawtell. “Tullio is charged with streamlining our sales organization into an integrated sales model, leveraging our sales force across Local.com’s various assets, including our recent acquisitions. We believe he will make a valuable contribution to the company’s current and future growth initiatives.”
Siragusa brings over 20 years of experience in senior level sales and leadership having worked for companies such as Ansearch Ltd., Operative Media, and Acxiom.
