Women business professionals from across the county will gather to hone their skills and gain insight from one another at the inaugural Make YOUR Mark event on June 24.

The conference, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails in Irvine, will feature an “interactive classroom” format intended to “bring Orange County’s female movers and shakers together to support, network and learn from top industry authors and trailblazers,” said event organizers.

Emceeing the gathering is Kim Porazzo, president of Churm Media Digital, where she oversees content for all Churm Media brands across multiple platforms.

Bestselling Author Rachel Bondi will serve as keynote speaker. Bondi, a former Fortune 100 company director, was named a Top CFO by the National Investor Relations Institute of Orange County in 2006. She was also among OC METRO's list of the "Top 10 Women of Power" in March 2006.

Other speakers include Kim Barnouin, co-author of the “Skinny Bitch” book series; Frances Cole Jones, author of “The Wow Factor” and “How to Wow”; and Carla Mathis, an author, designer and certified image master.

The event is open to “all women ready to learn, teach, share and connect with a community of colleagues, neighbors and friends ready to elevate their professional prowess,” organizers said.

Make YOUR Mark is sponsored by the Urban Land Institute, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit. The agency's mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land, and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
