![]() Hosted by the Orange County Fashion Association, the event will offer a lecture series, a student design competition, and shows and exhibits, all aimed at promoting the local apparel industry and supporting those who hope to develop a career in the field. The lecture series runs May 18-21, and will feature a host of industry professionals who will discuss topics such as production and Fair Trade, how to enter the fashion business, and styles and promotions. Meanwhile, the OC Fashion House student competition and show, which is set for May 20, will feature the designs of students from the Art Institute Orange County, Santa Ana College, Cal State Long Beach and Long Beach City College. Other fashion shows taking place throughout the event are OC Born, Raised in OC and In Sustainable Fashion, as well as an exhibit dubbed Corsets in Modern Fashion.
