Seven-foot Mickey Mouse statues will appear throughout county
Major League Baseball gears up for July's All-Star game by placing figurines with logos of each team at local landmarks.

Add another name to the roster for July’s All-Star game in Anaheim: Mouse.
Major League Baseball announced Monday that it will place 36 giant Mickey Mouse statues throughout Southern California during the run-up to the event.
Weighing 989 pounds each and standing 7 1/2 feet tall, the statues will appear at landmarks around the region, but MLB won’t say where just yet.
Each of the 30 major league teams will have its own statue, including the Angels and the Dodgers. The other six will include an American League statue, a National League statue and four with All-Star game designs.
