Smith Micro Software Inc., an Aliso Viejo-based developer of software solutions and services for the mobility market, was recently chosen by MTS India mtsindia.in to serve as their solution for connection management. The Indian telecom service provider chose Smith Micro Software’s QuickLink Mobile to supply the “best possible” data connectivity to their mobile broadband customers.

“We are dedicated to providing our subscribers with the best broadband experience possible. As part of this endeavor we are excited to select QuickLink Mobile to deliver superior data connectivity for our mobile broadband customers,” said Leonid Musatov, chief marketing officer at MTS India. “We are impressed with the connectivity product portfolio and expertise Smith Micro Software possesses and look forward to integrating their knowledge-base into our services.”

QuickLink Mobile boasts a complete multi-network mode solution, featuring a graphical user interface (GUI) and skinning engine. The company says it will give MTS India detailed control of application features, a snapshot of available networks and will swiftly find the best available network connection. In addition, QuickLink Mobile increases the operator’s average revenue per user (ARPU) by enabling pre-paid and post-paid services.

“Through our connection management solution, MTS will deliver an improved overall user experience and superior services to their mobile service subscribers,” says William W. Smith, Jr., President and CEO of Smith Micro Software.  “
