STOIK Imagic allows users to browse, sort, organize, search, catalog and edit all of their media. The software has automatic adjustments to remove red eye, and it can compensate for over- or under-exposure and low-light noise. “Imagic has already sold over 20 millions copies worldwide and Smith Micro will be focused on extending IMagic’s reach to a new audience of users through our global network of retailers and distribution partners,” says Steve Yatson, senior director of productivity and graphics at Smith Micro. Along with photo corrections, consumers can make home videos using filters, animated titles and transitions. Voiceovers and music can also be added. The program automatically locates and displays photos and videos. Another feature allows the user to turn a photo into a puzzle, create greeting cards and calendars and upload photo albums to Google Picasa for ordering prints online. “Imagic bundles the functionality of dozens of standalone programs into one intuitive application," finishes Yatson. Smith Micro Software also has offices in Europe and Asia. The firm develops mobility solutions that enable broadband connectivity and media-mobile convergence products over wireless networks.
