![]() T3 Series assists travelers at John Wayne Airport. “T3 Motion is very excited about our presence in this critical market," says CEO Ki Nam. "We are proud that our T3 brand is providing clean-energy solutions supporting homeland security operations which are tasked with keeping airports safe.” Among the other spots that feature the T3 brand: Birmingham International; Kahului International; Seattle-Tacoma International and Washington Dulles International. The T3 Series is also operating at facilities in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The green manufacturer also hopes to incorporate its products at airports across the globe, notes Nam. The vehicles’ compact design and zero-degree turning radius allows for greater access to smaller areas, such as elevators and parking garages, which could save crucial time in an emergency situation. The T3 Series was designed with the input from law enforcement and security industry professionals. The vehicles can move at up to 20 miles per hour and run for less than 10 cents per day. “It’s rewarding to hear from T3 Motion friends, family and other customers who call us and say, ‘Hey, I just saw T3s when I was at the airport,’” finishes Nam. “The list is growing so fast, we have to ask them, ‘Which airport?’” Related headlines Battle over toll road extension rages on Tesla Motors may open dealership in Newport Beach Irvine's BlueFire seeks $250 million in federal funding OC METRO, February issue: 'The Green Cube' |
