Costa Mesa-based Talk About Curing Autism – or TACA – will host its fourth annual gala and casino night on Saturday at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa.
Dubbed Ante Up for Autism, the event will raise funds for the nonprofit and will include cocktails, tournament poker, a live and silent auction, and tips from the pros. The event will be hosted by former NFL quarterback Jim Everett.
Other celebrities and sports stars expected to be in attendance include Clifton Collins Jr. of NBC's series, "The Event," actress and singer Kate Voegele, and Scott Niedermayer, a retired Anaheim Ducks hockey player.
TACA seeks to help families with autism by speeding up the time from diagnosis to treatment. In 2010, the nonprofit expects to assist more than 18,000 families.
The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. For more information, visit anteupforautism.org.
