Isuzu implements Teletrac's GPS technology
The Anaheim-based commercial truck provider will use the Garden Grove firm's software in its N-Series vehicles.

Garden Grove-based Teletrac's Fleet Director GPS software will now be offered in Anaheim-based Isuzu Commercial Truck of America's 2011 and 2012 N-Series vehicles.
The technology finds, tracks and monitors the position and function of fleet vehicles, giving managers a deeper look at the operations of their trucks and the ability to implement more cost-effective strategies. The most up-to-date version, Fleet Director 8.2, uses real-time information and online analytics for further monitoring. Managers are able to track driving behaviors and the safety of individual operators, specific groups of vehicles or entire fleets.
The software will be provided optionally for the NPR-HD, NQR and NRR models. The program will be available in the 2011 and 2012 NPR ECO-MAX and 2012 N-Gas models in the future.
