The program, which was approved by the U.S. Green Building Council, is geared toward professionals who are expanding their training or adapting to new careers in the field. Full-cost accounting, regulatory and renewable energy issues will also be covered. Participants will also be able to visit and network with local organizations, such as the Orange County Great Park, that have incorporated green strategies and practices into their operations. The seminar is part of UCI Extension's Sustainability Leadership Certificate Program, which offers a curriculum focused on sustainable development, environmental compliance, regulatory trends and social responsibility, among other topics.
