WD has now partnered with Netflix to offer Hollywood, international and local movies and TV series to consumers in Brazil.

“WD is an important partner for Netflix in Brazil,” said Paul Perryman, Netflix director of business development. “The versatile WD TV Live Plus media player is one of the most affordable ways for Brazilian consumers to enjoy Netflix on their televisions."

The WD TV Live Plus media player allows Brazilian customers to stream photos, music and videos from any Mac or PC computer or storage device like My Book Live and USB drives, camcorders and digital cameras.

“As the first media player available in Brazil  to offer Netflix, our WD TV Live Plus player offers Netflix subscribers an easy way to experience the thousands of movie titles and TV shows on their big screens, rather than only their computer,” said Dale Pistilli, vice president of marketing for WD’s branded products group. “The WD TV Live Plus media player helps users transform their TV into an all-purpose screen where they can experience movies, TV shows, YouTube content and social activities such as Facebook, as well as personal content, including video, photos and music previously trapped on their computers.”
